Data controller

OYSS (Outstanding Young Scholars Society), the registered entity named in the site footer, is the data controller.

Data protection contact

Data protection enquiries and rights requests go to the address listed in the footer, marked for the attention of the data protection contact. We respond within one month.

Security
安全措施
Submissions are transmitted over TLS and stored on access-controlled systems. Uploaded documents are stored separately from the application record, scanned before review, and accessible only to the review team through short-lived links.
提交内容通过 TLS 传输，存储于受访问控制的系统。上传的文件与申请记录分开存储，审阅前先行扫描，仅审核团队可通过短时效链接访问。

As set out in the Privacy Policy. Uploaded documents are deleted at the same time as the application record they belong to, together with any text extracted from them.

Breaches

Any personal data breach likely to result in a risk to individuals is reported to the Information Commissioner’s Office within 72 hours, and to those affected without undue delay.
